Tree Tuesday - Fall Colors and Forest Bathing
This #treetuesday features fall of course
I woke up early in the morning and it finally had stopped raining after a couple days. The lake was filled to the brim and the cold rain has started turning the leaves.
All the early morning dogs and their humans get to enjoy the colors as well.
The dog pointed me to this colorful canvas on the ground. The black leaves from the poplar tree help add contrast to the red maple.
Looking up it was like fire in the sky.
Here is a baby maple tree turning nice and colorful for fall. Hopefully it will survive and grow into a large tree.
An even more red maple giving nice contrast against the blue sky.
The clover offers a nice contrast with the red almost magenta leaves.
Plenty of deep yellows are appearing as well.
A side path through the forest by the lake is almost fully golden in the morning light. I often go here to hunt for mushrooms in the weeds.
One of the brownish gold leaves is glistening in the sun rays from the rain drops that fell the night before.
An older oak leaf is also rain drop covered with some orange fungi in the background.
Chatter chatter bark bark sqwaaa. Hey human quit daydreaming work starts in 15 minutes, said the squirrel. Get back to your computer before you're late!
Can't get enough of autumn.
Very nice photos.
Thanks, I was hoping to find some mushrooms but they were all frozen over. Had to get leaf photos instead.
Wow!!!!What a beauty! It turned out to be a cool mirror. And the trees are beautiful!
All the rain flooded the lake so the water became nice and calm.
hello buddy, it looks like it's autumn in your country, but what you share this time really spoils the eyes, thank you for sharing,
Soon I'll be posting snow pictures.
yeah i will wait for the next episode.
Amazing photos!
You can find mushrooms threw all year, most unique ones with medicinal uses grow threw winter and start with movember :)
Yeah mostly turkey tail and some wood ear can be found during winter here. If I'm lucky I can also find flammulina velutipes.
Just beautiful, you caught the light and colors perfectly.
I think peak color might be this weekend hopefully it won't be a gray overcast weekend.
Ours was last week, when the wind came through and blew them all off the trees...
Ouch winter is already so close. I have to leave town next week and by the time I get back I suspect all the leaves will be gone.
