Here are a few old bands that are still kicking for this #threetunetuesday by @ablaze


I thought Testament sold all their guitars years ago but they are still arounds. I'm not sure who they got to make this cartoon video but its kind of hilarious.


Megadeth is still around shredding as fast as ever. I think they've even put out more albums than Metallica.


Mastodon is now 24 years old, not quite as old as Megadeth or Testament but still making albums. Their sound has evolved quite a bit over the years but still sounds like them whenever I hear them.

Megadeth is classic. Speed Metal or probably Thrash Metal I guess but I'm not enough into labels to figure out the difference in the two genres 😊 Sometimes I go back and listen to Black Sabbath and its really striking how slow their tempo was especially after listening to some of the later metal bands.

The slow tempo of Black Sabbath allows for some nice soloing and atmosphere in the songs.

I didn’t know Megadeth was still making music. I really liked that song Night Stalkers, great guitar solo. Here goes a song from an old band that really kicked ass in 2024:

Ah now I know Judas Priest is still making music. I remember an Iced Earth album with the ripper as the lead singer a few years ago.
