Here is some flamingo chaos for this #featheredfriday

We took our daughter to the zoo on the first warm day of spring and saw some flamingos.

The aviary is sort of dark and king of blurs things on my zoom lens.

Fortunately we could get quite close to the flamingos and they were honking loudly causing a bit of alarm for my daughter.

I'm not sure what she thought of these strange creatures as they were mostly mucking around in the muddy water.

I finally gave up trying to get clear shots of them in the strange low light of their aviary.

Suddenly while we were in the aviary the zookeeper decided to herd them through the crowd outside as it was nice and warm that day. I couldn't get any shots of them walking through dense crowds of people inside the aviary. But I was able to get outside to see how people reacted to them outside.

This lady seems to have them trained to follow her and I think she is leading them to the kangaroo enclosure for some natural sunlight.

The expression on the kids' faces is priceless. Also note to self never go to the zoo on the first warm day on a weekend. This place was packed with baby strollers.

Here are a couple scarlet ibis that seemed a bit annoyed at the loud flamingos below.

I tried pointing them out to my daughter but she was busy looking at a sign below.

That's all for now, thanks for looking :-)

Hello, 400 years ago when feathers had eyes I also practiced yoga and I managed to have the same posture without difficulty. Now that I have three mouths I can't do it anymore... HAHAHA

I think they gave my daughter a nightmare that night because of their loud honking.
