Electrons in the Carpet - Wechter Acoustic Guitar Jam
Here's a random jam on Michigan-made Wechter Pathfinder acoustic guitar. I improvised to a 2/4 200 bpm metronome then added the drums in later via EZdrummer. The drum kit I used was the Country ezx with a bit of a delay and distortion on it. The funny sounding riff and beat kind of remind me of when you rub your feet on carpet then collect free electrons to shock someone with static electricity. Then of course they do the same and start shocking you back. Thanks for listening :-)

You're welcome.
Nice jam. I enjoyed a few minutes of background sound track as I browsed but mostly I like the peak we are getting of your guitar collection. Looks like maple?
I used to work for a vintage guitar store and learned about Wechters from that store. Wechter is out of business now but they had some amazing builds from their small Michigan factory and I was able to snag this one. It has flamed maple back and sides with a rosewood fretboard. The double cutaway and plek neck makes it one of the easiest to play acoustic guitars in my collection.
Thats cool. Nice snag 🙂 I can get infatuated with almost anything vintage haha But the beauty of the wood in stringed instruments really draws me in.
There were some crazy expensive old guitars in that store, it was just a hobby store run by one guy with a huge collection he would buy and trade and I was his webmaster. He became a dealer for Wechter but then they went out of business. I also snagged a sweet hollowbody prs out of that store. I'll have to feature it in the next video.
