Barn Cats for Caturday

Here are a couple barn cats at a farm for caturday.

The barn cats at a local farm are coming out from the hay to catch some rays.

These cats are somewhat tame but are a bit dodgy since they get to free-roam inside the barn to catch rodents.

My daughter tried to approach this one and pet it, but it started looking a bit leery and ran off into the depths of the barn.

We spotted another one at a different barn to try and pet.

This one didn't run away quickly.

She only got a couple pets in before the cat jumped into the rafters.

Maybe we have to visit here more often so the cats can get used to her. That's all for now, thanks for looking :-)

That first cat looks like it is having no problem finding mice to eat. Its quite healthy 😆 I can see this going two ways with your daughter... 1) cats get more comfortable and pet-able or 2) daughter gets frustrated, chases cats, cats run even further away lol

Plenty of rodents to eat there, and house sparrows. She approaches them slowly fortunately, one looked pretty mean and feral, the other like attention a bit more but just barely lol. She mostly gets to pet everyone's dogs when we go on our usual walks.

Cute cat, with the adorable kid. Great captures.
