A Dog's Breakfast

This is one funny looking dog.

I spotted a coyote walking on a pathway next to me on a morning walk in the forest.

It was laying right next to the smaller path I was on then got up and calmly walked on its way looking for breakfast.

I tracked it with my camera as best as possible, but of course the weeds always get in the way of the focus.

Eventually it got on my same walking path in front of me. I whistled and tried to get it to look back at me for a shot.

It was too busy tracking something down to care about me. Eventually I lost it on the path.

Later on I noticed the same coyote by a swamp. It was a bit wet too.

I suspect it was after some half cold dopey turtles for breakfast.

These guys were still quite cold and didn't even fall into the water like they normally do when they see me.

I would not doubt the coyote managed to get a small one and swallow it whole. Yikes now that's a dog's breakfast.
