Jakoś tak nie umieliśmy się zdecydować, co dzisiaj mamy robić. Pojechaliśmy więc do Bielska. Aż wstyd się przyznać, ale nie znam Bielska-Białej w ogóle, ale na miejscu poczułem się, jakbym znał. Bielsko jest tym, co łączy Śląsk ze Splitem - wszak były w jednym państwie. Niestety Śląskości czy autochtonów nie ma co nawet szukać. Niemcy uciekli po wojnie, Żydów wywieźli Niemcy w czasie wojny, Ślązacy spolszczeni sąsiadami z Białej.
Somehow we couldn't decide what to do today. So we went to Bielsko. I'm ashamed to admit that I don't know Bielsko-Biała at all, but once I got there I felt like I did. Bielsko is what connects Silesia with Split - after all, they were in one country. Unfortunately, there is no need to even look for Silesianness or indigenous people. The Germans fled after the war, the Jews were deported by the Germans during the war, the Silesians were Polonized by their neighbors from Biała.
