Ramadhan Day 1: Sweet and Salty Menu for Iftar

Hellooo Dear friends....
The month of Ramadan full of victory has arrived. To make the fasting atmosphere even more enjoyable, there's nothing wrong if you serve a variety of delicious and healthy home-based iftar menus.

The menu for today's Iftar is quite diverse, from sweet to salty. It is recommended to break the sweet first.

The first menu that must be present when breaking the fast is dates, it is recommended to break the fast with dates and then drink mineral water.

Next there is Bubur Sumsum, this is a typical Indonesian food made from flour and coconut milk which is cooked until thickened and eaten with liquid brown sugar. It tastes very good, a combination of salty and savory from coconut milk and also sweet from the brown sugar.

Next there are fried noodles, this menu is a mainstay menu for Iftar at our house. My mother's fried noodles are really good. The next thing that should not be missed is fried food, in Indonesia the breaking menu is identical to fried food. This time for the fried food is Bakwan . Bakwan is suitable eaten alone or with fried noodles earlier.

And the most important thing is ice, this time there is Ice Kuwut. Namely grated cucumber, nata de coco, and basil seeds mixed into melon syrup and lime juice. It tastes sweet and sour. Very fitting to quench thirst after fasting. And lastly, don't forget to eat fruit, this time I chose watermelon.

Those are all my iftar menus on the first day of Ramadan. I will share another menu on the next day of Ramadan in my blog.
