Pandan Sponge Cake

I am glad to be back in this @FoodiesBeeHive community. For your reminder about me, I am a person who loves food hunting, cafe hunting, cooking and baking. So, in this blog today I want to share about what I baked a few days ago.

A few days ago I tried a new cake recipe again. This time I tried to make Pandan Sponge Cake. This is one of the old school cake recipes. The ingredients needed are quite easy to get, namely eggs, sugar, flour, pandan paste and liquid margarine.

How to make:
•First beat 6 eggs with sugar until fluffy.

•After that, slowly add the flour. Stir until completely mixed.

•Next, add liquid margarine and pandan paste and stir briefly until evenly distributed.

•After the dough is finished, put it into a baking sheet that has been given margarine or lined with baking paper.

•Then bake in the oven at 180° for about 50 minutes. After the sponge cake is cooked, you can remove it from the tin.

Can be served on a plate with additional chocolate jam as a complement. This pandan sponge cake is perfect for enjoying in the afternoon with a cup of warm tea or even during break time.

The texture of the cake is soft, not too dense, and light which makes this cake very nice and delicious. Coupled with the aroma of this pandan paste, it arouses anyone's appetite to eat it.
