Rhyme and Read: Scattered Minds by Gabor Mate
Our focus is easily lost.
The mind wanders, directionless,
Tossed around by life's distress.
Our emotions hard to keep.
A scattered mind, a restless soul,
We search for ways to be whole.
To approach each and every day?
To understand our scattered mind,
And the traumas that we left behind.
We can break free of our mental chain.
With compassion and understanding,
We can embrace life's demanding.
And our true potential revealed.
With love and care, we can find peace,
And our scattered minds, finally release.
Welcome to "Rhyme and Read" a collection of book summaries in verse. In this series, we'll explore some of the greatest works of literature through the art of poetry. The scattered mind is common in this modern world, everything is done to keep us in a state of conscious shock, but not thinking.
Some very interesting verses to reflect on.

I couldn't agree more. It's amazing how much simply acknowledging our emotions can do for our overall wellbeing. Thank you!
A broken mind! This is exactly what we are left to face in a world where the order of the day revolves around despair, pain, and distraught.
It's amazing how you script reality into poetry. Poetry which we can all relate to, poetry which is an emblem of the things we face every single day.
Nice✨
