Bitcoin wasn’t the only thing “Dumping” today Lol!😅
With nonstop rain, Silvertop was starting to think he was going to “Strike out” with today’s hike!🙄
“ Is today going to be an “Inside step day”!”😮
Hmmm……………..
Then at about 2:00 PM the rain stopped……😊
Silvertop always packs a raincoat in his backpack all year long……just in case!😇
I’m sure I won’t need it today Lol!🤣
Take a look at the second photo.
Down in the valley, towards the right side of the photo, you can see flooding on the main highway that takes you to the town of Lynden!😳
I stood on the ridge top, watching cars slow down to almost a crawl……….
One at a time they would take turns driving through the flooded highway!😳
During the big flood several years ago, one driver feeling the pressure to get to work, drove through floodwaters only to be swept away in his pick up truck!😬
Silvertop prefers the snow, and living at higher elevations !😇
I just checked the river levels measured down below in the valley town of Everson.
Currently the river is at 76.29 Ft. with food stage about 6 Ft. higher at 83.5 Ft. 🙄
I hiked through “sleeping bear Hollow”………
Keith and Lynne are starting to get sap for Maple Syrup!
In one of the photos you can see several inches of liquid in the plastic containers !😊
I continued along the Eastern ridge top. I could see interesting low hanging cloud formations through the trees!😊
Finally I was at “Soaring Eagle”…………
What…….. ….was that a raindrop?😅
It was time to head back……….
Silvertop might melt Lol!😇🤣
