Just passed Noon today ………. It was just barely 17°F!🥶
The past couple of days, with the temperature dipping down to 1.4°F, and a stiff nor’easter wind blowing, hiking was a bit out of Silvertop’s comfort zone !🥶
“ Liz, the wind has stopped today , I’m hiking up to the “High Trail”!😊
The Mrs is recovering from a bug, and didn’t want to have a relapse exposing herself ………
“ Depending on the weather Silvertop, I’ll hike with you tomorrow!”🥰
“ How many layers do you have on Silvertop?”🤔
Layering, is the only way to stay warm!😇
“Six layers Honey, I will be fine!”
Silvertop is also recovering from the same bug………………
We shared Lol!🥰
Stopping to take photos is a challenge in frigid weather.
First I peal off my warm gloves…………
Then my very dark Maui Rose sunglasses that make EVERYTHING look so good Lol!😇
Quick Silvertop, snap that photo, and put those gloves back on Lol!🥶
That’s when I see another beautiful sunset shot, and like “ Groundhog’s day” I repeat this process , clutching my iPhone with my now very frozen fingers!😬😳
They tell us tomorrow we will have a high of 35°F😎
We might need to turn on the A/C Lol!🤣
I was still on the ridge top at 4 PM snapping one last finger freezing sunset photo!😇

Time to go………………
More daylight every day, so very nice!
It was good to be out………I have missed the Mountains!☺️
