I headed down to our electric driveway gateโฆโฆโฆ.
It was only partially open, and it was beeping continuously!โฆโฆ.๐ฒ
Silvertopโs list of chores for today, just got put on a back burner Lol!๐

I opened up the duel battery box and checked the voltageโฆโฆ..
Hmmmโฆ.. the batteries are getting some age on them, but they are up to full voltage!๐
It was time to dig into the circuit board!๐ฒ
Fortunately we arenโt having any rain today, because all this electrical work was being done at the gateโฆโฆ.on the ground!๐
Hmmmโฆโฆ.. a little bit of moisture inside.
I used canned air to dry out the circuits.
I cycled the on/off switch and the gates electronics booted up!๐
I held my breath as I pushed the remoteโฆโฆ..

The gate completely opened, then completely closed!๐ค
Did I fix the problemโฆโฆโฆ
Lol, time will tell!๐

It kind of surprised me yesterday when it didn't open all the way. I thought maybe it was just hung up. When I pushed the remote again, beep, beep, beep!
Glad it was only a little moisture and dirt! Otherwise, either we'd have to get a new one or, you could stand in the rain and open and close it for me as I come and go. You could be my automatic gate opener! What do ya thing dear?

I have a variable pool pump on 3 phases (in Spain) and wanna change the worn out timer/contactor. Luckily my neighbour on the hill is a electrician.
Itโs always nice to have electrician neighbors!๐

Once you find that first speck of gold in a pan you're hooked. A lot of the smaller nuggets I would end up digging up the spot, carrying over the dirt to our water pool and panning to find them. It was nice to find one that required no more effort than bending over and picking it up!
How are you able to get so many tags attached to your post?
It doesnโt take much to get hooked on gold panning, I have spent long hours in the cold bent over in a cold water creek Lol!๐ฌ

What a good idea to have an electric gate, but of course you have to keep the components away from humidity otherwise it is a problem.
It usually works very well, but living in the Pacific Northwest with rain and humidity can be a problem Lol!๐
