Well just follow me down this trail…….😊
At 1:30 PM today I had less than 2,000 @actifit steps!😳
Today was our Actifit Discord moderator weekly call, and also my long Crypto trading day!😅
Delaying today’s hike, was actually good, because a blizzard was dumping snow outside my patio door!🥶
I watched the snow quickly pile up as we chatted on line………………
I certainly needed today’s hike!😇
I’m going to hike to “Soaring Eagle” trailhead today!😊
This network of trails with numerous switchbacks, carve their way down from the the ridge top, down to a natural pass in Sumas Mountain.
When we hike this ridge line, we always bundle up, it is extremely wind swept!😮🥶
Temperatures vary here, frigid cold and high winds high up, and rain down below!
You need to be prepared for any weather condition when hiking this side of the Mountain!
I haven’t been down this trail since Fall, I had forgotten how breathtaking the view is!😊
Starting with the fourth to last photo, you are seeing a panoramic view of the valley below!😊
Look close you can see the snow line halfway up the Mountain!
Most of the snow on this side of the ridge blows away, and piles up higher up the ridge!
I hiked through deep snow today, then melting snow, and back to dry powder snow!😇
All on the same trail Loll!🤣
The Sun was dropping low in the sky, and Silvertop called it a day and headed back!
When I was almost out of the forest I ran into my neighbor Chris………………..
“ Silvertop is that bitcoin still a thing, after one of the guys got arrested!”😳
Hmmm…………………..
Do you have a few minutes Chris, I need to explain how Bitcoin really works Lol!😇

It is pretty! I'd forgotten as well! Maybe someday we can hike this in a lovely warm (but not too warm) spring day with ZERO bugs!!

Interesting weather you have there. The first thing I noticed in your photos is the color white. White clouds and white snow. Up and down both white😁

Those are some scary eagle like geese! Great view though! Reminds me of all the fun hikes we used to do in the army in the middle of winter just for the hell of it! Training you know.... Way to go, a great workout!
