In case you have not heard, there are many across the world who accumulate precious metals.


The motivations why one accumulates silver or gold differ from one person to another.


Some stack silver and gold as a hedge against an economic downturn.


Gold and silver have been a store of wealth for many centuries.


In Hive, you will find many of the silver and gold stackers in the Silver Gold Stacking community.


We stack silver and gold in different ways. Some stack once in a while but in substantial ways, buying silver once or twice a year. Some buy the dips and when prices of silver and gold are high like now-a-days, don't buy at all. A few are average stackers and buy a little every month regardless of spot price. And still, others are more or less collectors of coins... some collect numismatics and some are collectors of modern coins.

We don't think that's possible. This would force us to change our rules along the way.
The goal of this challenge is to reward consistency rather than a special effort.
You can continue for fun, but you will have to wait for the next edition of the challenge for a badge.

I find the best reason to stack gold & silver is not to become rich but some we never become poor and lets face it shiny silver is darn pretty

What are your thoughts on platinum and palladium coins? They are less common.

I have platinum jewelry and two platinum coins.
I have nothing against these metals, they are all good.
But if I am going to stack the higher price item,
then I'd rather add a little more to buy gold 👍😀😎😄.
