A crypto exchange to support El Salvador's BTC

A crypto exchange in Mexico will be going to support El Salvador's Bitcoin wallet Chivo.

Bitso for which they are a cryptocurrency exchange in Latin America said that they will be supporting El Salvador's Wallet on their September 7th or in other words 'BTC DAY'.

The Silvergate Bank, a California state-chartered commercial bank and US Fed Reserve member have said that they will be working with Bitso to make sure that everything works fine for the Chivo Wallet.

Athena Bitcoin will also be providing some front-end services and also Chivo’s ATM-related operations & meanwhile that Algorand will act as the official blockchain provider.

With the Chivo Wallet being launched today, Chivo wallet will be used to enable both individuals and businesses from anywhere in the world. These wallets are available both on Android & iOS and being able to withdraw into cash from any ATMs as well.

A spokesperson for Chivo stated that

“The Salvadoran government has created strategic partnerships to ensure that convertibility is undergone at the most competitive prices possible, and users will not have to be faced with covering any costs.”

Further on the spokesperson also noted

“The use of the Chivo wallet is completely optional, and those without citizenship will be able to access the app as well,” Bitso noted in the announcement.


Santiago Alvarado from Vice Chair of Bitso said that in quoted

“positive impact on the lives of millions of Salvadorans.”

Adding on this comment was this

Today, as the leading crypto-service provider for El Salvador’s wallet, we are committed to making crypto useful for Salvadorans.”


IN MY OPINION

Here in the United Kingdom where I am based at the moment, there are only a handful in the area of London

And then there is Crypto Debit Cards which I feel that using both of are very useful when using them.
