Capturing the Magic of Ramadan's Evening Time: A Photo Walk through Mymensingh City
Hello beautiful people,
@sid-rahman is here, how are you all! I'm fine. I am new to this community. This is my third post on @photographylovers. I am basically a traveller, photography is intrinsically involved with travelling. So I also do photography. I try to take good pictures. I am new to Hive. I have already posted some in another community. Recently I got interested in photography posts in this community and prepared a post.
It has been a few days since the month of Ramadan ended. I had to go to Mymensingh for official work. I finished my work at noon. The body was not too tired. So I thought I would eat Iftar outside in the evening. Since I have no work, I went out. I will look around the city. I have never come to Mymensingh before. There is a satisfaction in exploring an unfamiliar city alone. The city is neat and tidy. I took some pictures while walking around. People with different lifestyles are here. Now let's talk about this city.
Ramadan is a special time of the year for Muslims around the world. It is a month of fasting, prayer, and reflection. In Mymensingh city, located in the north-central region of Bangladesh, the evenings of Ramadan are particularly special. The city comes alive with vibrant lights, bustling markets, and the aroma of delicious food.
Recently, I had the opportunity to take a photo walk through Mymensingh city during Ramadan's evening time. The experience was nothing short of magical. The streets were bustling with people, and the energy was electric. Everywhere I looked, there was something interesting to capture with my camera.
One of the first things that caught my eye was the intricate decorations on the streetlights. Strings of colorful lights were draped around the poles, creating a festive atmosphere. The lights were interspersed with colorful paper lanterns, adding to the ambiance.
As I continued my walk, I came across a bustling marketplace. It was filled with vendors selling a variety of items, including clothing, toys, and food. The smells coming from the food vendors were tantalizing, and I couldn't resist trying some of the delicious treats on offer. I sampled some traditional Ramadan snacks, such as samosas and jalebis, and washed them down with a refreshing glass of lassi.
As the evening wore on, the call to prayer echoed through the streets. The mosques were filled with worshippers, and I could hear the sound of recitation as I passed by. The sight of the beautifully lit mosques was a photographer's dream. The intricate patterns and designs on the domes and minarets were truly breathtaking.
One of the highlights of my photo walk was witnessing the breaking of the fast. As the sun set, families gathered to share a meal together. It was heartwarming to see the sense of community and togetherness that Ramadan fosters. I captured some beautiful moments of families breaking their fasts and sharing food.
As the night wore on, the energy in the streets began to die down. The markets closed, and the crowds dispersed. However, the memory of my photo walk in Mymensingh city during Ramadan's evening time will stay with me forever. It was a truly special experience, and I am grateful to have had the opportunity to witness such a vibrant and beautiful culture.
It was my last day in Mymensingh. Maybe I will go again someday. But I won't get the Ramadan vibe. Even if I get it, I will get it in a different form. These pictures will be beautiful memories on that day. That's it for today, goodbye. stay well.
