Yahoo Finance did a short article on what the authors termed five potential Facebook Killers!

Hive was honored to be amongst the five!

The Five include

Summary

  • The article was an ultrashort one, which didn’t say to much about each project, but it did hit the main points that separate Hive from Facebook and Twitter:

Social media giants such as Facebook (META) and Twitter (TWTR) are facing the disruptive force of block-chain based alternatives.
New web3 contenders promise to give users ownership of their content, end de-platforming, increase data privacy and even incentivise usage via crypto payments for each post or comment. source

  • In addition this article provided all five projects priceless exposure on Yahoo Finance!
  • And for that they should be eternally thankful.
  • I am posting links to a few articles describing more about Hive, hoping that the Gods of SEO grant those articles higher Google Rankings, and Hives some good press.

I would love to celebrate about this post but I have grown to realize that hive is not going to kill Facebook in any way. They both have different niches. It’s like LinkedIn and Facebook. They all have different roles they play

Thank you for sharing this article. When I click it on the article on Yahoo, I got the boring messages for accepting or rejecting the cookies.

That is cool to discover 2 new projects Niche, and Authenticity!

Yep, that is becoming standard privacy practice, and I love opting out!
I agree. Please spread the link to the Yahoo article.

This is great news. I wish it was more well done by Yahoo as there is little information about what Hive is.

Obviously I'm biased and I firmly believe #Hive is easily the best of all of these options listed and I wish that was reflected in the order of the list. I think if the author actually had taken the time to actually look at the platform in terms of tech and their history, Hive would clearly be the front runner.

Is this an opportunity for us? Can we engage and continue the conversation so that more will learn about Hive?

Regardless, I'm am super happy to see the mention and attention.

The more big-time publications write about Hive, all the better for the community! Hopefully the Hive community continues to keep growing immensely and we see it gain more mainstream clout!
