UNPLEASANT SOUNDS

Firstly I will say I'm a Nigerian and with the way of life here we're used to noise already except for those living in Government reserved areas or some selected places for wealthy people, an average Nigerian is used to noise already, talk of car horn, noise from neighbors, sounds from place of worship like church and mosque, some even live very close to the market.

There was a time my church had issues with some people in the community where it's located, initially they don't want any church to be built in that area, I don't know why but I guess they are idol worshippers.

They fought with the church till the extent that they were placing different kinds of sacrifices in the church environment, just to stop the growth of the church and bring it down.
But to God to be glory, the church came out victorious and stronger.

In my street, there's a church and mosque, and you know what that means lols, there will definitely be sounds coming from those places. The mosque will start their prayer very early in the morning, sometimes they wake me up in the morning and I'm so cool with that, I don't see it as disturbance and when the church also start theirs, I see it as normal thing. As far as it's the things of God, I'm so cool with it.

However, there are two occasions where I come across noise pollution that pissed me off and it's when I travel to my parent's place, there's this neighbor that lives behind our house who usually his Generator every night whenever there's no light, the thing is every where will be silent and then you start hearing unpleasant sounds. For me it's so irritating, because I might be resting atimes when I'll hear the sound of that generator. It's not because he do on his generator but I think the Gen engine is faulty so it gives this annoying sounds. What can I do, will I tell him to stop putting it on or to go fix his generator so it won't continue to disturb.
I just manage to endure, besides it's just for a while.

I have said to myself that instead of buying a generator I will rather install solar in my house, though it's expensive but I think it's better compared to the expenses of buying fuel on a daily basis, with solar once it's installed you're good to go, only when it develops a fault, which is rare.

With the sound of our neighbors generator, I usually pray the electricity distribution company gives us light to avoid that ugly sound.

Secondly, there's another neighbor that lives beside our house, the issue I have with this person is how she talk to her children lols, she screams at the top of her voice whenever she wants to call her children maybe to help her do something or needs their attention.
I'm not the only one affected, some people also complain about this same issue. But I don't think anyone has met her in person to call her to order.

It got to a time when I couldn't take it anymore, I had to tell my mum to help me take to her, because she and my mum are in good terms, so maybe with that she will take caution.
In my mum's discussion with her, she told my mum that she had an accident sometime ago which really affected her mentally, so I guess this made her do things that are abnormal, hearing this I feel so sorry for her, so now I have no option than to just live with it and pray God will heal her completely.
