Afri-tunes week #107 - Talo dabi re (cover)
Hello my people, lovers of African music, I hope we're all doing great. It's another time again to share and explore good African music, and so for afri-tunes week #107 I'll be sharing with us my cover of the song titled "Talo da bire" meaning "who's like unto thee" by Tope Alabi. Well, some of us especially Nigerians might know who she is already, she's actually a blessing to gospel music, even though most of her songs are mostly written in Yoruba, yet listening to the lyrics of her songs, one would know that this woman is gifted and anointed. Her songs do minister to me alot and this is one of them. A song that's purely about God, For someone like me I can't deny all the blessings, mercies, favour, grace, provision, protection and so on I've received, God has always been God and there's no one to be compared to Him.

Talking about the love of God to mankind, it's just massive, it can't be compared to anything, despite our shortcomings, He still loves us and wants us to be with Him till eternity.
Sometimes I use to think, "what if man is God" hmm it would have been something else, alot would have happened and maybe we all would have been dead by now because it takes only the merciful God to still keep on showering us with mercy regardless our wrong doings.
Okay so for this song I decided to grab my guitar again, even though it was not sounding well, I just decided to shame my village people lol, just kidding.
I hope you find this song interesting, thanks.
SONG LYRICS
Ask me "Who is Jesus"
And I will tell you things He has done for me
Ask me why I love Him
And I will tell you how much He loved me
When I've not met Him at all
Ohun lo wa mi ri nigba ti mo rin na sako
Ohun loo we mi ninu eje re
Mo si mo
Iyebiye ni irapada mi
Ta lo da bi re
L'aye a'torun
Ko si o

Mi o ri rii ko ma si
Ta lo da bi re
L'aye a'torun
Ko si o
