It has been a memorable year so far

Many things has happened in the space of five months and few days that we've spent this year, 2024 has been an amazing year so far. Everything is just like yesterday, I could still remember when we did crossover service in church on the 31st of December through to the new year, 1st of January, and now we're already in the month of June, well we thank God for good health, I'm sure those that are in the hospital have a different view.
I'm that kind of guy that loves being indoor most times, I rarely attend parties, gatherings, etc I don't know why, maybe because I'm a broke guy lols, you know when you go out, you must definitely spend, no matter how small, you can't avoid spending money, transport alone will drain ones money. I only go out to attend functions when it's very important and I can't even do without going.

For me everyday is actually fun as far as I have sound health, that's the basics for me, my number one criteria of having a fun filled day, the second is money and freedom, when this three are present, everything is settled.
I do not really celebrate my birthday's I rarely do that this days, my mentality about everything is changing day by day, don't mind me lols. Celebrating birthdays is very good but for me I'm not over hyping it as other people do, I know of some people that would already be posting "Happy birthday in advance to themselves" on social media, four/five months to their birthdays. It's like weird to me but every other person might still love it though.
One of the interesting thing that happened in the last six months was my birthday, every 21st of January is my birthday, and this year, it falls on a Sunday. I went to church like every other Sunday but this one was different because I made sure I dance more than I always do. I'm always shy when it comes to dancing in church but this time, I have to show special appreciation.

After the service, we took some nice pictures and the I head home with my wife. Instead of doing the normal cooking as we always do on Sundays, this time she take me out for a nice treat in one of my favorite restaurant, I didn't see it coming but it came as a surprise, she also gave me a special birthday gift, everything was amazing and lovely, I really enjoyed my day. Actually I can't remember the last time I had a nice birthday celebration like that, but she did made this year's own memorable.

Another interesting thing that happened this year was seeing one of my very good friend get married, he got married last month, I was among the groom's men and I can say we shut down everywhere with our agabda lols.
We did the court wedding on Friday and then round it up with engagement and reception on Saturday, it was just very lovely. Both the husband and the wife are my friends from way back, we also attend the same Church but I'm more closer to the husband. I'm happy for both of them as they are happily married and enjoying their marriage now.
