Misconceptions About Women’s Career In Society

The discussion is not about women's empowerment, this is all about the financial field women choose but the society treat them as they can't reach financial goals as men can. Its true that women are physically weak but how we can forget that women carries baby in her womb and tolerate the labor pain when give birth, but still they are weak and they can't bear a family responsibilities like men. Things are changed long time ago.

I'm the witness of live examples where women bearing a family maintenance when a man leaving responsibilities and walked away like a selfish. Parents in our society still expect a boy child because they are strong enough to hold the family maintenance in future and take care of parents. Girls got brain washed in their childhood by saying them that they are weak, they are not fit in every kind of professions. Only teaching job is fine for women and so many misconception.

Women proved that they are not weak, they can left footprint on Everest too. Our weakness is not in our body, our weakness is our mind whatever we think and believe. No I'm not a feminist but I have concern about people who have several misconception about women's ability and career. Even women herself thinks as others force them to think, very few listen to their heart and show their guts and abilities in financial field or career.

Boys and girls both can support family finance if they get proper education and skill training to work on particular field. Only teaching profession is good for women is a big misconception. As a parent, before imposing your will on your children, you should know what they want to be or what they want to do. We only know money but the money making process should be preferable to the person who making it. As guardian we only can suggest careers but we can't force them to be that what we want. Career building is equally important for both men and women.

Even now women who works at home treat as maid without any salary, they have no self identity and respect in family. So when women try to build a career, many people from society start back biting. Some women can continue and some got nip in bud. There are many good people around us will support women with their desired working opportunity and at the same time there are many bad people will try to pull down when a woman will try to earn money from their job or business.

Recently I met a woman who is working on a private NGO office and she is doing it more than a year. But she is studying for a job as primary school teacher because people washed her brain by saying that private job is stressful and not suitable for women but primary school teacher job is very comfortable and salary is also continuous, there are many government facilities and so on. She thought why not trying for a comfortable career which also can secure her future but its not something that made her passionate at the very beginning. She wants to do it because society give respect the women as teacher and this is selected as the best career for women by the society.

In developed countries this may not found but it still found in a society of under developed country. As I'm belonging such society but I prefer listen to my heart and I choose my own career even my family members tried their best to wash my brain about choosing the career society likes and appreciate. I respect each and every honest profession but it doesn’t necessary that I'll always go with the flow and others will choose my career. Its your life so your career will be your own decision, don't force yourself because other force you.
