Emu Shot's #77
Good evening Hive family and all the photographers, as well as the viewer's of my posts and blog. What I have for you tonight are these shot's of these Emu's, the owner at the Airbnb had about six of them. They were curious and pretty funny, as you can see in the second shot's I got to close and this guy actually pecked right on my lens. Pretty surprised he didn't break it, for it was a hard hit. All in all this was such a fun day at the farm and I for one will go back one day to shoot again, once I get better at this manual mode photography but for now I have what I have, as well as continue showing off my shot's. Now let's talk a little bit about the Emu, they are the second largest living bird, right after the Ostrich. Now these are all over in Austrailia which is the largest bird that's native there. They are soft feathered and brown with long necks, as well as the legs. They can reach up to six foot three inches in height. They also can travel really long ditances, and can sprint as fast as 48 km/h, also know as 30 mph. They are know to eat plants and insects, but also can go weeks without eating, They do however consume a lot of water. I do have more shot's and I'm sure you'll see another post or two on some more shot's of these Emu's. Anyways, thanks for stopping by my post and blog, hope all is well. Have a blessed one to your and yours.
