Multiverse of Madness (2022)
So, after all the hazards happened around the world, MCU is coming right on track with their schedule. MCU is almost on the halfway of its phase four. ‘THOR: LOVE and THUNDER’ will get released soon. But today, I will be talking about my thinking on the latest release ‘DOCTOR STRANGE: MULTIVERSE OF MADNESS’. I am hoping almost all of you have watched and enjoyed the movie, but still some of you may not have watched it, so, I will be not talking about the plot or the story of the movie. Rather I will say what are the things that amused me most.
The sorcerer supreme Doctor Strange is one of my favorite characters from Marvel Universe. I was extra hyped for this movie. Dr. Strange: Multiverse of Madness is the second solo Dr. Strange movie, and he has been in the MCU movies in six times (including the solos)! Benedict Cumberbatch is one of the best casts of MCU at least that is what I think. The resemblances with the comics are hard to ignore.
Director Sam Raimi have done excellent job brining the writing of Michael Waldron on to the big screen. Sam Raimi does not fail to amazes us with his ability to make great movies. He is one of the masters of Horror genres, and Dr. Strange 2 can be called the first horror movie of the MCU. This made me more excited as the chances of getting MARVEL ZOMBIES is already on the table as we have encountered the zombies in the ‘What if…?’.
Now, about the movie, the best thing about Marvel movies now a days is the stunning visual effects. From the trailer, it was clear it will be another stunning work of VFX, and I think the movie delivers that. It also provided a platform for the current ‘Sorcerer Supreme- Wong’. I loved the way he was presented to us.
The multiverse concept has already opened limitless possibilities. Introducing us to the Illuminati brings so many possibilities up, exploiting those, MCU can easily travel more ten to fifteen years. The twists are incredible, and MCU have been playing with us with the trailers. But I have to admit, the story could be better polished. Also, for their business scheme, you need to watch WANDAVISION and LOKI to understand the movie clearly, which I think will reduce the joy of those who only follows the movies.
Overall, I really liked the movie. If you have not watched it, you should watch the movie.
