My Trip to Chittagong | Mahamaya Eco Park.
Hello All,
How are you doing today?
Welcome everyone to see my new post. This will be my last post about my trip to Chittagong and today, I'll talk about Mahamaya Eco Park. Let's see.
Mahamaya Eco Park is a land of beauty in Mirsarai in Chittagong. Where there are small hills and clear water lake in the middle. There, the blue sky blends into the horizon as a shadow at the meeting point of Giri Lake. It is like an artist's canvas painted with the colors of imagination.
Mahamaya Lake has all the charms including clear water lake, cold water fountain, green hills and blue sky. An Eco Park has been developed around Mahamaya Lake. You can see the Mahamaya Eco Park entrance gate in the picture. I'm sorry I didn't get a very good photo of the entrance gate though.
Anyway we reached Mahamaya Eco Park gate at 3pm. I sat in a tea shop next to the gate. To enter this eco park you have to buy tickets so my husband bought tickets for everyone. Next to this gate there were some small shops selling many beautiful things.
From there I bought some nice things for my younger sister. Also saw a lot of delicious food there. Although we did not eat anything from there except for fresh coconuts.
Then we all entered through the gate. A sloping path leads from the main gate. It went up a bit higher, there was a row of trees on both sides of the steep path. And on one side was Jhau Forest. The beauty of different types of flowers were eye-catching.
A road bends to the right as it climbs up the steep path. Another road leads up the hillside to the left. At the intersection of the two roads was the speedboat or boat dock. The road on the left leads up the hill. There were many tourists climbing that mountain. My husband climbed that mountain but I did not. I waited for him to come downstairs and took a few pictures. He stood on the top of the hill and saw the beautiful nature. Then he came down from the hill.
We all decided to do kayaking which is the most attractive thing in this park. There were rows of boats and speedboats at that wharf. You can also relax there by boat and if you want, you can also go kayaking. We all hired kayaking boats for kayaking.
It took us about 1 hour to do this kayaking. These boats had two seats for two people. So we all sat in the boat two by one. My husband and I were in the same boat. Then we continued to drive the boat one by one. I didn't know how to drive these boat or any boat but my husband taught me to do this.
After that I kayaked very easily and spent more time kayaking than my husband. Then two of us competed with the rest of our friends to do this kayaking and we almost got drenched in the competition. Although we were the first. But my husband could not go far because he was busy recording for his vlog. In the meantime, our two friends had gone far ahead by kayaking. So we were trying to get to them by kayaking again very quickly.
Honestly, I enjoyed this time a lot. Although while kayaking I felt a lot of pain in my hands. I was also a bit scared and thought that if our boat sinks, we will never be found because my husband and I cannot swim.
I could not take any pictures during kayaking because our cameras and phones were kept in our bags but fortunately, my husband had his phone with him and took some photos of me. After that we sat quietly on the boat for some time and we saw all the beauties of nature. Others were sitting on the banks of the river and catching fish. Sometimes I got to see some Pankauri birds.
I saw jum cultivation and banana cultivation near the river bank. Then we saw a mountain boat on our way back from a waterfall and I liked that boat very much.
It was almost evening so we kayaked very quickly to the previous place to return. Overall I had a great time kayaking at this place. The good times go by too fast.
Then we crossed the gate and we went to our hotel. We all freshened up and went out in the evening and had dinner. Then we went to the bus counter and had to wait for the bus. We boarded the bus at exactly 11 o'clock then we all reached home carefully.
This is our whole travel story of Chittagong. I have tried to share the complete story with you in a good way. I'll try to talk about more of my trips next.
That's it for today. Hope you like it. Thanks for being with me.
