My Trip to Chittagong | Journey to Chandranath Hill Continues.
Hello All,
How are you doing today?
Welcome everyone to see my new post. Today I will share my tour blog with you and its about my trip to Chittagong and today, I'll talk about the rest of my journey to Chandranath Hill and Temple where I'll show you the main temple that I already showed in the thumbnail and will tell you the story of our leaving the hill. I hope you'll like it.
While going, we were enjoying the beauty of mountains and nature. There were many forests along the mountain road and many beautiful flowers were blooming in those forests. From there, my husband picked this flower for me. The flower looked even more beautiful in reality than this picture.
The temple you can see here is the one we had already traveled and climbed a step higher and from above this temple looked smaller. We climbed this far by winding roads. I was a little surprised to see the place surrounded by forest because I couldn't believe how we climbed this inaccessible hill.
After going about half way up the hill we rested for some time at this place. Everything can be observed very perfectly when looking down from the top of the hill. But I stood at this place to see the beauty of nature very well.
I enjoyed seeing the green nature all around. Also there were rest facilities for travelers. There were many other travelers like us resting there. But the price of food there was very high because they have to struggle to get these food through the mountain road.
Finally after a long trek, we reached this top of the hill and the temple. About 1 to 1.5 hours we had to trek. I loved seeing the blue sky from this hill. This is the first time in my life that I conquered such a big mountain. After climbing this mountain, I felt peace because after many efforts, I managed to climb it.
There was a temple on this hill. Where Hindus use to come to worship. Also we saw that many people were already there and they were very happy to climb this hill. When I was down this hill I thought I wouldn't make it very far but I did it. It seems that if you have courage, patience and desire, you can conquer anything.
I always kept a cool head and crossed the rough roads very carefully. You have to have enough courage and stamina to climb this mountain and I had that stamina so that I could enjoy the beauty of this mountain. On top of this hill, it was very hot due to which we could not stay there for long. Although many travelers may pitch tents to stay overnight there. Anyway we all enjoyed it a lot.
Now it's time to get off that mountain. When we were looking for the way down from the mountain top, there was a huge banyan tree on the way. There were a few eateries under that banyan tree. In the shops, they were selling various fruits to the tourists. I bought and ate wild papayas, bananas and guavas from them.
Among the fruits, papaya and banana were very tasty. From this place there were two roads going down on both sides. One road was for going down by stairs and the other was made a special road and through that road, there was a good arrangement to go down with CNG. Also, many large and heavy items were brought up through that road. But we didn't go through that road because it would cost a lot of money to use that path.
So we decided to go down these stairs. Although all the tourists were going down through these stairs. The stairs were very short in range so we started down by 2. In the beginning it was very comfortable and easy to go down the stairs but later I found it difficult because the steps of the stairs were quite high but it was easy for my husband.
In the next few moments I started to go down holding my husband's hand. We rested for 5 minutes as before and went down the stairs. Then we were able to get down that huge hill very quickly. However, I noticed that it took less time to come down than the effort and time it took to climb up. All of us did not have to suffer much while coming down from this mountain. Anyway, I felt like we were all fighting and winning. I really liked it.
Now it was time for us to go and as we were leaving the place we saw this shop. This shop sold sliced cucumbers and lemon juice. We all were very thirsty after coming down from the hill so we bought lemon juice from there.
They made this lemon juice and served it in a wooden glass and I loved this glass. Anyway the lemon juice was very fresh and felt very peaceful to drink. They were saying that the lemons were their mountain lemons and the water was from natural waterfalls.
I took a few pictures at this place while leaving. The huge mountains, green trees and blue sky looked very beautiful. Nature has spread its own beauty among us. Finally, my trip to Chandranath Hill came to an end and I'll show my other adventures in Chittagong later in a separate post.
That's it for today. Hope you like it. Thanks for being with me.
