HPUD | 1 November 2022 | nearly reached my 2022 HP target - thwarted by KYC
Yes, nearly made it to 72,000 HP two months early but I reckoned without Blocktrades new KYC. I went to buy a little HIVE to top up to the 72,000 but couldn't get authenticated in time. I had to make do with powering up what I had available and making up the rest later.
I'm wondering now whether I can make 100k HP by 1 April 2024, rather than 1 April 2025? Someone was kind enough to add an autovote recently, commenting "that's $100 dollars a year if you post every day". It spurred me into thinking about posting more frequently.
Sitting now at rank 213 (up from 215 last month), I'm wondering how long it will take me to get into the top 200 HP stakeholders? Perhaps by 1 February 2023? 😁
I'm also looking at increasing my HBD savings. I had a conservative ambition there, perhaps I should push that a little more vigorously.

I have not got my ID registered on Blocktrades yet, but I will look into it. We can still get $HIVE via Hive Engine, but I am just funding my account from Hive dapps for now. I may spend some £ at some point though.

Nice balance there, if you need to deposit without KYC then you can using hive engine Tribaldex, just click on deposit and select litecoin then transfer from your crypto card to hive, then exchange the swap.litecoin for hive, sorted! I had to do the same last week.

It's too bad to hear about the KYC issue but I think more and more businesses will have to implement it due to the government/regulations. I also made sure to power up today.

i'm also reaching my first goal of 1k before 2023 and my next goal will be 10K HP before 2024!!

Wow, that's awesome about your HP goal!! I haven't used Blocktrades in a while, I didn't know they had changed to a KYC system. I just recently discovered that I had to know what network I was sending ETH from and that it has to be the same on both ends in order to send to Coinbase. I had no bloody idea if H-E used the ETH network or Polygon. Thankfully, someone was able to tell me (answer: ETH network). But if there wasn't the H-E Discord group, I wouldn't have known for sure. It struck me as a new rule that is going to make a lot of people lose their funds because there isn't any way to know otherwise.
