Rise in remote jobs

Our country got exposed to remote work durng the Pandemic period. Onlythen many realized work can be done from home, also, especially when related to IT field, the opportunities seems to be more.

The happiness in the continuity of remote jobs was a blessing to many, especially, the "Boss" who had direct control over the staff. Because they were favoured with productive output.

When most of the office re-opened, after the Pandemic, few companies opted for remote job. This not only saved them from paying excess rent for the office building, but also from gaining expected output from the convenience of their home.

If I had to share my personal experience, remote work is convenient for those having small kids or aged parents or bedridden patients at home. Preferably for the ladies community.

I lost my job during the pandemic time and my daughter took up her first job as an Animator, during the pandemic, which meant her first experience was from home. I saw her waking up early , having breakfast on time, getting well dressed to sit infront of the system as many eyes are wide open during the group discussion.

But I would like to highlight some advantages and disadvantages of remote jobs, from what I saw. Here, we get an opportunity to stay with the family despite work pressure. Further, you can work at your convenience, if its not related to a group project. The privilege to move around at your convenience is an added advantage, by not sticking to the chair for a 10.00 to 6.00 job routine.

If the work gets over earlier, you don't have to wait for the scheduled time to leave the office table. If you have a laptop, with good internet connection, you can work from any part of the world. Another interesting fact is you are saving your rent or transport charges, if coming from a far off place. Finally, in a nutshell, you can work at your convenience.

But their is a great disadvantage, remote jobs keep you away from realistic world and you get only virtualy connected. Which means social life is lost to a certain extent. And another fact is on somedays, you are supposed to be always available infront of the system as messages pop up then and their in the laptop, for which an immediate reply is expected from the other end.
