LOH contest # 163 : A gift without a price limit for someone special

Good day to all Hiveans. Iam sure each day of December is going to be vibrant, as Christmas is nearing.

******December means Christmas. A month of enjoyment, patience, happy family reunion, the being of togetherness and most of all the colours, the lights and the exchange of gifts bringing closeness among eachother in a family.******

A gift on a Christmas day......
If I ever opt to gift someone, other than my relative, it would be spending some quality time with an elderly person, who despite having children, is staying all alone, helpless in a large home.

# Why an elderly person?
They are the most vulnerable people in the society. In today's society, the living condition expects both husband and wife to work due to which some are forced to leave the country for the betterment of their family. And it is the elderly person who is left behind all alone.

The await by the elderly couples continues.... it is only during celebrations they reunite. And some are not fortunate enough to make a visit even during occasions.

What would I gift them?
Apart from gifts and good food, I would like to spent quality time with them. Because, these are the going to treasured by them as memories until the next occasion, where they get to meet their close ones. In short, a time for themselves to interact, to laugh, to have food of their choice, to visit their holy place, to visit their close ones and finally a small outing if they desire.

This is the time, they need to be around with their loved ones, their kith & kin - singing laughing, having fun, caring & sharing - a hug, a kiss all becomes a part of this. Their wait for each occasion continues........ just to reunite with the family.
