THE PAINS IN BEAUTY
Oh woman, I can feel your pains. There is a common saying in Nigeria especially among the Yoruba tribe that "the beauty of a woman lies in her hair" but I will say the beauty of a woman lies not only in her hair, but in her clothing, what she eats, her creativity, body postures and her character.
To be beautiful is not easy, it takes a lot of sacrifice on one's end. Many women have to forgo their favorite meals, some had to take one drug or the other to keep fit while some undergo surgery just to look beautiful. Oh woman! You are strong. You lose money to be beautiful, you lose sleep to be beautiful and many more that I may not know.
I know you are wondering what prompted this write up, I will share it with you in a moment. School resumption is around the corner so I decided to make my hair. I have always admire threading on ladies and I decided to go for it. I have a background knowledge of threading to be a style that softens ones hair and enhances hair growth. I do hear people say it is painful, but my curiosity wouldn't let me heed and the fact that many still do it and feel comfortable makes me want to try it.
Dearly beloved, the pains I went through in the process of making it can not be expressed with words but that is even lesser than what I went through while trying to lay my head to sleep, I had to take paracetamol to relieve me of headache. Many ladies pass through these pains every month just to stay beautiful. My sister, I celebrate you.
While watching a video online, I saw how a lady, because of the dress she wanted to wear on her wedding day, had to lose weight just to look nice on her day. You go for various exercises just to keep fit, eat fruits to look fresh and wear beautiful smiles to hide the pain you are passing through. Many spend on clothes even when it is not convenient. You hide your scars under makeup just to be beautiful and enrol in different trainings to be beautiful. Hey gorgeous, you are doing well..
When others fail to see that pain and yet criticize you my dear console yourself with your pictures, your before and after and keep on being happy with yourself. In the aspect of money, no matter how desperate you are trying to look good never borrow to do so. Cut your cloth according to the length of the material you have. In your own little way, look beautiful, If you are the type that feels all you need is good character and you can't pass through any pain just to look good, or you are the other way round, it might not payoff. My lady, nothing good comes easy. Endure the pains and be sure your outcome will be great. Don't jump out in the process. Just a little longer and you will see how beautiful you will come out. I celebrate your pains.
Finally, I feel much better this morning because the pains have reduced. How do I look?

You look lovely before and after.
Although there is nothing wrong wanting to look more beautiful, we must never forget who we are and to love ourselves.

My dear you see this hair style called threading I wouldn't try it again, it been years now but I can still remember the day I was crying while making my hair. I took paracetamol while I was still making the hair and took it after, still the pain didn't go away.
Meanwhile you look beautiful ❤️
