MIR4 big update. You can tokenize your character into NFT now.

MIR4 is a play-to-earn MMO RPG game developed by Wemade. It is considered as P2E pioneer in the genre of MMO RPGs. A few days ago, there was a major update of the game bringing another milestone for the blockchain gaming world, proving that play-to-earn and NFTs are revolutions happening right now. From now, for sure with some restrictions, you can tokenize your in-game MIR4 character into NFT and sell it on the freshly released market for MIR4 cryptocurrency, which can be further converted into another crypto/fiat or used for other purchases in the MIR4 market.

This is a real win-win situation for both players and developers. Players can now decide to sell their entire characters, which is adding another play-to-earn mechanics to the game. Developers can still make
profit from the game they developed because minting character NFT requires a fee paid with the in-game currency, therefore it is boosting the economy which they created around their utility crypto token and collectible NFTs.

Most of the characters tokenized into NFT has a value of a couple of hundred USD, however, there are some nice priced characters with the value of over 100k USD which makes an awesome bounty for the hardcore gamers.

MIR4 proves that right now, that MMORPG with graphics and mechanics not deviating from industry standards can offer play to earn system. Hopefully, it’s only a matter of time when more and more games will give the same opportunity to the players.
