Local town festival chalk art contest

A small local town had a Chalkfest competition. There were two groups, adults and kids. Not sure exactly what qualifies you as a kid, but I assume is anyone still in highschool or below.

We walked through with the kids today, and we all voted. Interestingly, after we voted, we talked about the ones we picked for both adults and youth. We all picked different drawings for each category. That just shows me that so many of these deserve credit even if they were not selected 1st or 2nd. Clearly at lot of this is personal preference.

I was blown away with what some people can do with chalk. the winners did an amazing job and its hard to believe they did it all on some old nasty concrete sidewalks. I guess it shows that true talent can make art anywhere. It really puts the side walk chalk decorations we used to do with the kids to shame... I will have to step up my game if we do it again. I am thinking a projector and liquid chalk somehow....

I feel like there are some youtube clips I will need to watch this winter to get ready for spring decorations!!!!
