Great way to start Halloween, Vista Sunrise Over Clouds and Finished Off with Trick Or Treating

Always start the day with a sun rise of you can

I woke up stupid early like always. I wake up at 5am on the weekends. Never been able to sleep in, that means I a chance to see some great sunrises!!

I grabbed a coffee and drop up to a local over look. I did sorry in my truck for a while be waiting. It was about 40 degrees F and windy. I was not really dressed to spend much time or side. When it got close I jumped out and went for a short walk down the trail to get some shots.

The colors were just starting to get tood, and I snapped a quick photo wanting to see how it showed up on the phone. It was good, but I was hoping from some more deep red or oranges.

I decided to quickly run down the trail and see if there was better shot at the bottom of a quick trail.

When I finally got to the bottom of the quick trail, I forgot that it was actually worse for the Sunrise than if I had stayed at the very top. So I turned around and double timed it back to the top, trying hard not to slip in the mud.

the view down here, actually gives you a great shot of the river and the new Highway bridge they put in a few years ago over the river and across state lines.

Well that was it. I went home. Drank Coffee, and spent an very tiresome day outside, When you live where I do, you have to put away the summer stuff, and store all the table and chairs etc so they don't get wrecked by the snow and ice. You at the same time have to pull all your winter stuff out and get it ready. Shovels, snow blowers, Christmas Decorations, You name it, and since I am like most, I am packed to the gills for storage and have to make sure it all gets put away perfectly...

I wrapped up around 3:30 just in time to get a snack, and rest for a few minuestes prior to getting out with the kids and collecting candy for me to steal as I work form home.

While we went around the neighbor hood, we left out a self serve candy bowl so others could still get some goodies. Here is what we left guarding it!!

So Much Sugar.

Probably the recommended yearly intake for our whole family. I think it has honestly all gotten out of hand. I know some families that did 3 different days/events. The downtown businesses on Sat, and Trunk or Treat Friday, and then again tonight. Funny thing is they were discussing how they had more candy then they know what to do with... we are funny creatures... pushing our selves to stockpiles in excess and then complain about the same that we worked so hard for.
