Born to Wear a Crown... Poetry
So recently, I have been recruiting people around me to Hive again. One of these new recruits which I have successfully brought in is the talented @fadekemie... She should have her introductory post up soon....
In this post however, she is my muse as I am inspired by both the meaning of her name (Fadekemi), and some awesome pictures which she took, and have given me consent to use here.
Before, I go on to the poetry, here is an insight into the inspiration behind it...
Fadekemie (Pronounced far-day-ke-me) in Yoruba means "Use a Crown to Pamper Me"
You will understand the rest simply from the pictures...
Please enjoy the read... It's a Sonnet, written for a Black Queen...

Would only be winking, to a Queen in the dark...

Here are some more awesome pictures, with the consent of course, of our muse...
Thanks for visiting...
Till next time...
Cheers!
Yes, she is beautiful, worthy of a poem! I hope she sees you as a god. ;) I love the poem, especially that last line.
Oh, she is beautiful indeed. But I fear she doesn't realize how much though, so now and then I try to tell her... And no, she probably sees me as a royal brother, lol. It's all good too...
Thanks for always reading me man. I really do appreciate!
Cheers, and have an amazing day!
I'm a fan of your writing. :)
Great job! This poem is well paced and the imagery is fantastic. Keep it up 😁
