Snowy Walk With Quill and @enak
My son Kane (@enak) is home for the holidays! We decided to take Quill dog for a walk today out to nearby Prosser Reservoir. No snowshoes were needed as there were plenty of snowmobile tracks to walk in. The lake has a nice layer of ice on it now, it was safe to walk along the edge where there was a lot less snow.
It was a very enjoyable little hike. There were a few wet areas on the ice, we found this little hole that had water bubbling up out of. It was kind of strange, quill thought it was worthy of investigating too. Don't worry, the ice around this area was plenty thick, it just had a small hole in it.
As I said, the ice was nice and thick. We saw these ice fishermen out there. I was a bit jealous, but it's good to know the ice is ready. I'll be back...
I shot some abstract photos with the Canon camera, but I'm not sure if I'll have time to work on them or to make any more posts before Christmas. If you celebrate it, have a Merry Christmas! Here's my little winter wonder land right now. Cheers!

Merry Christmas Scott! Have a nice holiday. Always love to see the work from you!
Thank you @macchiata! Happy holidays and hopefully I'll have many more new photos to post in 2023... Cheers!
Great to see the ice thickening up. You are ahead of me in Vermont. Or at least higher up than me.
About 6000 feet elevation. But it's been a bit warmer out the last couple days, hopefully it will stay safe for a while.
Great. I can see you had fun😊
