A Bit Of Snow Today...
We woke up to a bit of snow today. Over two feet fell overnight. I love the snow, and I kept telling myself that while I was clearing it all day. A broken bolt on my snowblower caused a big mid-day delay where I had to drive into town to pick up a spare (that I mistakenly thought I had in the drawer...) The roads were a mess, everyone was struggling. These huge days don't happen often, so I try to appreciate them, but wow am I tired. That was a lot of work.
Quill dog had a great day! He had a lot of outdoor time while I was shoveling. His coat is nice and thick, I've never seen him shiver from cold. He'd stay outside all day if we let him.
Here's my house, early in the morning before I started the snow removal duties:

The Honda 928 gave me some troubles today, but I don't blame it. Look how much snow it had to clear! And it was wet heavy snow, so it kept sticking to the auger blades. I kept having to shut off the snowblower and clear the auger. It took a long time...
Here's my office/studio door below. It took A lot of shoveling to get to my computer this afternoon.
Success! The driveway is now clear and there are paths around the house for me and Quill dog. Fortunately, we are supposed to get a break for a while with no new snow in the forecast. I'm guessing that it will be looking rather photogenic out. Perhaps some new photos soon.

i wanted to add to my post that it started snowing just now. but the thing that is happening outside just now is not called snow compared to this.
and i should not be surprised by snow now as it is mid December. But we had temps of over 10C till yesterday, and my brain is refusing to comprehend that it is end of 2022 in few weeks.
Ha! Yeah, my town may have won for most fresh snow today. It's been a bit ridiculous. And I understand about this year flying by, what a busy one. I'll be the first to wish you a Happy New Year! Hopefully that will get you in the mood for 2023. Cheers!

Damn that’s a lot of snow. First thing to do in the morning upon waking up is working on this thicc one before even getting to the computer, that must be quite annoying (or energizing?). The doggo didn’t seem to mind the almost as tall as him snow :D
Yup! Snow removal was an all day event yesterday. Not sure if it's energizing, but it definitely is a good work out. That snow was deep!
Wow thats a lot of snow we got like 1.5 inches. The beautiful early season gentle snow that covers everything and looks gorgeous. And you almost don't even have to clear 😁
I love those king of easy snow days. The weather looks like it should be clear for a while so now we get to enjoy it. Although, once the snow on our metal roof slides, I'll have some work to do again... Enjoy your easy snow!

i dont even know the snow, i live in venezuela and i haven never in my life have touched it, and in one night you had enought for a life time 🤣🤣 ii see it pretty from far away but i bet that is a annoying to do everyday
A warmer climate like Venezuela sound really nice right now... Fortunately, most of our winter snow storms are a lot smaller, this was a big one. But yes, many days in a row of snow removal can indeed get annoying. Cheers!

Yesterday was a ton of work. Today was incredibly beautiful out! Yes, Quill loves the snow. Perhaps I'll build a snow man for the holidays, it's been a while since we've had one. Cheers!
