Hola, comunidad, hoy deseo compartir con ustedes una canción que tiene una historia muy especial tras sí. Se trata de "La Vida Sigue Igual", del gran cantante hispano Julio Iglesias. Muchas personas no conocen la historia de esta canción. Julio Iglesias estaba comenzando una carrera como futbolista profesional en el Real Madrid y por su mente no creo que pasara alguna vez la idea de ser cantante, pero debido a un accidente se vio confinado en 1966 a una cama, perdiendo la movilidad en sus piernas. Con esto terminaban sus días como futbolista. Él se deprimió mucho y tengo entendido que una enfermera al verlo tan triste, le regaló una guitarra para que se entretuviera y drenara sus emociones.
Lo que tenía de sobra era tiempo para dedicar al aprendizaje de dicho instrumento, y compuso esta canción "La Vida Sigue Igual". Unos amigos la escucharon, les gustó mucho y lo convencieron para que participara con ella en julio de 1968 en el Festival Internacional de la Canción de Benidorm. Fue un éxito rotundo, ganó el primer lugar y obtuvo su primer contrato discográfico. Basada en esa canción se hizo una película para la pantalla grande y Julio Iglesias salió del anonimato en el mundo musical y fue catapultado a la fama.
Para mí esta canción representa lo que puede ocurrir a cualquiera de nosotros: Sentirnos muy mal por algo que nos sucede, y luego encontrar que ha sido para bien o ha sido para mejor. Como dice la Biblia "Al Justo Todas Las Cosas Le Ayudan a Bien".
