Granizo y calor

Buenas tardes amigos de Hive.

En estos últimos días el calor que se ha sentido en Monterrey ha superado en sensación térmica, hasta donde me acuerdo, a todos los años anteriores. Olvidese del experimento de cocer un huevo sobre una piedra. Ahora tendríamos que preocuparnos por qué no se queme como lo hacen nuestras cabezas con unos pocos minutos cuando salimos por un refresco. El día de ayer salí a comprar una torta de huevo con chorizo a medio día y me sorprendió que estuviera recién hecha, pero la empleada me dijo que las había preparado esa mañana. Así de fuerte está el calor que empiezan a caer pájaros muertos. Nada más ayer me tomé como cuatro litros de agua, eso sin contar los refrescos.

Pues el día de hoy no fue la excepción, el calor secó la ropa en el tendedero en tan solo una hora y al quitarla parecía recién planchada y no porque no tuviera arrugas. Pues han de creer que de un momento a otro empezó a caer granizo en forma copiosa. Normalmente cuando cae granizo dura como diez minutos y luego continúa lloviendo, pero hoy estuvo callendo solo hielo como media hora.

Que contraste! Por un lado las altas temperaturas no cedieron y por el otro el suelo se pinto de blanco por unos minutos con el hielo. Me parece que el cambio climático seguirá haciendo de las suyas, mientras tanto yo voy por otro refresco. Mientras aquí les dejo estás fotos.

In recent days the heat that has been felt in Monterrey has surpassed in thermal sensation, as far as I remember, all previous years. Forget about the experiment of boiling an egg on a stone. Now we would have to worry about it not burning like our heads do in just a few minutes when we go out for a soda. Yesterday I went out to buy an egg cake with chorizo at noon and I was surprised that it was freshly made, but the employee told me that she had prepared them that morning. The heat is so strong that dead birds begin to fall. Just yesterday I drank about four liters of water, not counting soft drinks.

Well today was no exception, the heat dried the clothes on the line in just one hour and when I took them off they looked like they had just been ironed and not because they didn't have wrinkles. Well, you have to believe that from one moment to the next, hail began to fall copiously. Normally when hail falls it lasts for about ten minutes and then it continues to rain, but today it was just ice for half an hour.

What a contrast! On the one hand, the high temperatures did not subside and on the other, the ground was painted white for a few minutes with the ice. It seems to me that climate change will continue to do its thing, in the meantime I'm going for another soda.
