I WOULD LOVE TO TEACH ANATOMY!!!

A Teacher is an individual who imparts knowledge into another person in such a way that the person would understand and be able to apply the knowledge imparted.

When I was growing up as a primary school pupil, Teachers were often viewed as “No-do-it-wells” but need I say that Teaching is one of the noblest profession and it is a great opportunity to educate the next generation, imbibe in them the right character and help them build a formidable mindset to change their world.

I Love Human Anatomy And Would Love To Teach It.

”Human Anatomy is the study of the structure of the human body, in relation to its function. It deals with examining the various cells, tissues, organs and systems that make up the human body with an in depth study of their function.”

My Why?

Anatomy is a very interesting subject. It's like you are studying yourself. It opens up your mind to a world of awe. You get to know about the makeup of your body, how you moved from bring a tiny cell to a full grown human made up of billions of cells.

You know which part of your body is responsible for what and what can happen when that part is damaged hence, understanding its pathology. There are a whole lot of communications that go on inside our bodies. Our antibodies are like our bodies' soldiers, defending from incoming bacterial or viral attack, our brains like a computer, accurately monitoring & controlling all our bodies' activities and raises an alert when there's any anomaly.

Each time I study Anatomy I just wonder how amazing my God is. How He beautifully designed the human body with all its complexities, nothing lacking. It reminds of a beautiful psalm of David to God in the Bible; "...I am fearfully and wonderfully made."

As an Anatomy Teacher, I would love to take off the burden and fear of Anatomy from students who find it difficult to understand it due to poor teaching skills on the part of the Teachers, most of whom make it seem difficult by using complex grammar and lack of passion, while still reiterating the consequences of the students failing the course (or subject as the case is). Also, because of how broad it is coupled with the numerous information one has to know accurately because once you miss for example, the position of a particular bone in the body, you miss the position of the muscles, nerves and beautiful blood vessels related to it and that would mean missing their functions as well.

This I will do by teaching them so passionately and making use of the best technology like holograms to give them a well detailed pictorial representation of the topics so they can understand better. I would even give incentives to those who make an effort to encourage them and drive in them the love for the course.

I know there was a Teacher who taught us as some point in our lives something we understood perfectly and would never forget. That is what I hope to do; leave a lasting impression in the heart of my students.
