Kitten Christmas watercolor art π±π
Hi guys!!
Here I am after a long time.
Today I painted a New Year and Christmas picture, in the spirit of the upcoming holidays. I have to admit that I haven't painted with water colors for a long time, so I thought that I had forgotten to paint and that I was totally out of shape. π
But here I am today, and our topic was this adorable kitty. She is so shaggy and happy. He has a red New Year's cap on his head, and under it is a big red gift. Who knows what's inside... maybe a treat or a new ball. π
While some pets slow down during the winter, cats often have bursts of energy from being indoors for extended periods of time, resulting in mad dashes through the house β often just as you're preparing holiday dinner.
Cats love warm places like fireplaces, candles (which should be kept out of their reach!), or even a blanket where you all gather around. Their need for warmth symbolizes the comfort and closeness of the holiday.
Although cats are not allowed to eat most holiday delicacies, the smell of roasting meat or fish will attract them to the dining table. Be careful not to give them anything that could be harmful, such as chocolate, onions or spicy foods.
In some cultures, especially the Nordic countries, black cats are a symbol of good luck during the holidays. In Lithuania, for example, the cat is considered the protector of the home. π
