¡Hola, Comunidad de Hive! Hoy les comparto un nuevo retrato, que en esta ocasión corresponde al rapero y artista urbano puertorriqueño MYKE TOWERS, que a mi parecer uno de los mejores artista del género en la actualidad. La referencia fue la portada de su nuevo álbum, La Pantera Negra, el cual recomiendo escuchar. A continuación les muestro el proceso que seguí para dibujarlo.

Hello, Hive Community! Today I share with you a new portrait, which this time corresponds to the Puerto Rican rapper and urban artist MYKE TOWERS, who in my opinion is one of the best artists of the genre today. The reference was the cover of his new album, La Pantera Negra, which I recommend listening to. Below I show you the process I followed to draw it.

El primer paso fue hacer un boceto con un lápiz 4H.

The first step was to make a sketch with a 4H pencil.

Lo siguiente fue oscurecer y definir algunos elementos como la barba, las cejas y el vestuario con lápices HB y 2B.

The next step was to darken and define some elements such as the beard, eyebrows and wardrobe with HB and 2B pencils.

Después, hice algunos arreglos y reforcé las sombras con un lápiz 6B.

Afterwards, I did some fixes and reinforced the shadows with a 6B pencil.

Por último, oscurecí los bordes y difuminé el fondo.

Finally, I darkened the edges and blurred the background.
