Mini origami swan of 90 pieces // Crafts
Today I am very grateful to God for giving me the opportunity to continue sharing with you and my family, I mention them because today I want to share with you about crafts, and today I bring you the step by step of how to make a mini swan in origami of 90 pieces, which I did with my two children, inventing them at the same time how we can recycle and reuse paper in this way, creating in them an environmental awareness and at the same time serves as an ornament in our homes.
I took the initiative to make this craft which makes me very happy to do it when I saw sheets of paper scattered around my house and I told my son that today he was going to make good use of the paper because it was going to be recycled and at the same time reused by making simple crafts with it.
The first thing we are going to do to elaborate the swan.
We collect paper or notebook sheets.
Ruler: To take the measurements.
Pencil: To draw the lines.
Markers: To outline the sheet.
Scissors: To cut the paper to make the swan.
Step number 01
Having the paper collected, we take it and measure 4 cm long x 8 cm wide, all the squares will be cut to the same size.
Step number 02
We take the ruler and measure the squares to draw the lines, once this step is done we start to cut with the scissors each square, if you want your swan to have several colors paint the sheet before cutting the squares, in my case I left 68 white squares and 22 blue with orange.
Step number 03
Once everything is cut, we begin to fold vertically so that the sides are equal, then we fold it horizontally to be able to make the double at the ends so that it is in the shape of a triangle, once the triangle is folded so that the ends are on the inside and on the outside I have no ends, and in this way we begin to elaborate my swan.
Paso number 04
Once we have all the pieces assembled, we begin to build our swan, we are interlacing the pieces giving it shape and without using glue as you can see in the image, it has no cost and it is useful to us as it serves as an ornament in our homes.
In this way we will have the base when we begin to interlace the pieces, we join two pieces and with the third piece we join them together, thus we assemble it and give it shape..
In this way we are finishing building our mini swan in origami, I hope you like it, for me it was very satisfying to be able to encourage Environmental Education at home with my children.
