I have heard a lot about the horse in a book
Capable of doing nothing but maintaining its stance
You could practically do whatever you want to it
It’s totally lively to the eyes but lifeless to touch
This picture I see seems similar to the horse but I am yet to confirm

The stance it assumes is not giving the vibe that it’s about to strike
Like a pet in its owner’s well-arranged habitat,
I see the serpent curling and enjoying life as it is
In its bowl meant to hold its drinking water
It decided to find some fun
After all we all live once
I believe the serpent is making the best of what it has
Not even a forked tongue to show its frightened
The photographer must have arrived after its lunch

The surrounding looks tidy more like a cage for such creature
Wait! Is this cage for this serpent or a Cockrel?
A rabbit or another poultry being?
This could be the farmer shooting the intruder
This could be an unaware picture
Taken at a moment the culprit is getting comfortable
That bowl resembles a drinking jar for hens
Or is this serpent in its habitat?

I see a serpent in a bowl of drinking water. Looking at its calmness and non-defensive posture I’ll say it is in its cage built by its owner. I believe the snake is just having a good time after having a good meal, probably a hen or any other animal on its menu.
