Mensaje diario de 5 minutos-La rutina diaria/ Daily 5 minute message- The daily grind

Cada lunes volvemos a la rutina diaria, a levantarse con una taza de café y a mirar el sol salir por el horizonte. Son los pocos minutos de calma antes del desayuno y salir corriendo para el trabajo.

Son unos pocos minutos que nos tomamos para nosotros y agradecer cada mañana. Luego nos embullemos en el trajín diario que causa el caos de pensar en un lunes otra vez, en la semana de trabajo que nos espera, en los clientes y los pedidos que tenemos que hacer.

La rutina diaria por pensar que prepararé mañana de comida y surge la pregunta del hijo interrumpiendo los pensamientos: ¿Qué vamos a cenar? Ya están grandes y ya no hay el acostumbrado que hiciste de cena, sino que es un conjunto las decisiones, de simplemente lo que te provoque prepararte en la nevera.

Siempre hay algo de comida preparada porque en esta Venezuela no se sabe si amanecerás sin servicio de gas, o servicio eléctrico, por extraño que les parece hoy hay servicio de agua, la sueltan cuatro días y la quitan otro cuatro más.

Les parecerá raro cuatro y cuatro son ocho y no siete, pero el tormento nos hace parecer una rutina diaria muy alargada.

ENGLISH VERSION

Every Monday we return to our daily routine, waking up with a cup of coffee and watching the sun rise over the horizon. These are the few minutes of calm before breakfast and rushing off to work.

These are a few minutes we take for ourselves and are grateful for every morning. Then we plunge into the daily grind, which causes the chaos of thinking about Monday again, the work week ahead, the clients and orders we have to make.

The daily grind of thinking about what we'll prepare for tomorrow, and the son's question interrupts our thoughts: What are we going to have for dinner? They're grown now, and there's no longer the usual dinner you made; instead, it's a series of decisions, simply what you feel like preparing in the fridge.

There's always some food prepared because in this Venezuela, you never know if you'll wake up without gas or electricity. As strange as it may seem, there's water service today, they cut it off for four days, and then they cut it off for another four.

It may seem strange to you that four plus four equals eight, not seven, but torment makes us feel like a very long daily routine.
