Vexen Art of Myself
I'm back on hive for some more art. I've been seeing a lot of different types of art lately, and there's just one thing that comes to mind: it's extremely difficult to create art. I usually believe I've made beautiful art, but in actuality, I've done the exact opposite lol.
I'm going to share my initial version of vexen art with everyone, just as I'm doing now. I make one because I am confidence in myself. Actually, I read a lot of blog articles in the #sketchbook group to acquire some professional ideas. I've seen one since then and am inspired by his work.
If you've been following me, you'll recognize the reference image. You've probably noticed that I've switched from photography to painting. On this hive, that is my profile image. It's been a month since I joined the hive, and I've learnt a lot.
Making a rough draft is a nice thing, but you're probably wondering why I didn't include a nose and hair. Because if I added it, it would turn into a shambles, similar to what I've seen on YouTube.
Why are there so many white holes all over my face after I added additional skin? Maybe it's because I enjoy creating my own versions. I'm having a good time building it, and I'm pleased with the end result.
I started adding a second layer of skin tone because the hole was too large. Then it turns out that the face has improved in appearance.
Now you want to see the nose and hair that are gone. Here's how I went about doing it. On the nose, I added a shadow tone and a few highlights before beginning to polish it. What I mean is that I blurred the side of the shadow tone I added, and it ended up appearing like a nose. While the photo was up, I added fill to the hair.
Now for the hood color, I applied a yellow fill to the outline I made, then after finishing the picture, I began to add black to it, and it came up looking like this.
Now I've applied shadows and highlights to the face, and I've copied the background from the reference image. Because I'm not excellent at making backgrounds, I needed to make it complement the art. This was the final section, and everything went smoothly.
Thank you for stopping by, and I hope you enjoyed the work I create. I'll be developing more and more lovely awesome things like this in the future. Thank you once more, and I hope to see you soon! In the future blog, I'll discuss
Yay! 🤗
