Crayons!
Mommy's Art class was relocated from the classroom to the kitchen today! š¤£
In the evening, once he got up from his afternoon nap, Little Man was playing with some markers that have been his favorite game since yesterday. He got so focused in putting them in and out of their box that he didn't care about anything else at the moment. That until his father decided to open Pandora's box one of those markers and show him he could draw lines on paper, on the floor, on his hands, on his clothes, on his face and the list gets looong.
And that's when mommy almost got a nervous breakdown, but luckily for her she remembered the wax crayons she had bought a few weeks ago. Little Picasso quickly forgot about the messy markers and started examining the new box of wonders. Of course the first thing he tried to do was put the crayons in and out of the box, that's a favorite occupation these days š¤£
Soon after he realized that those crayons could draw too, he tried to experiment with them by moving them around on the sheets of paper on the floor. He left a painting on the kitchen tiles as well, but I'm sure it'll go away during tomorrow's mopping. It was fun to watch him experiment with the crayons, flip them and try to find the right way to hold them, try to stack them on above the other. He's so sweet when he gets curious with something new.
Our drawing session ended with a good hands washing and then it was dinner time! A bowl of hot soup with beef mince, rice and vegetables was the perfect ending to a chilly autumn evening.

Now thatās Pandoraās box for sure. My daughters walls were covered in anything she could draw with. So I ended up buying the special paint that markets and crayons clean off fairly easily. Not as easy as they say but it does come off without damaging the paint or walls. Good luck with little Picasso .
I was thinking about it yesterday, I need to buy those wash off markers next time I 'm out shopping.
Good idea. I donāt know if they sell the paint we have here, but there is a paint that crayons and regular marker clean off of.
Mummy's class can be set up anywhere. This is true even as they are older :)
The little man's hair is simply majestic, to say the least... ā¤
Loving the progress of this beautiful relationship. Looking forward to the painted walls and seats! xD
The hair... Aaaah, it starts getting longer now, but I keep postponing cutting it. He is really cute like that.
It is so gorgeous love! I'd probably feel bad cutting if I was you.
Cute he is. Says a lot about the genes xD
