I see a contrail formed probably from an Airplane. From the picture, it is going downwards.

I smiled because the image took me down memory lane.

My Story

Some movies we watch while growing up made us believe in somethings which now that we know better would make us laugh at our younger selves.

The first time I saw a contrail in the clouds I thought aliens had invaded Earth, I ran as fast as my legs could take me to my parents telling them we need to make an underground tunnel where we could hide to avoid being killed. How did I even think they could make a tunnel that fast beats me.

My parents came out and saw what I was yelling about, my dad almost gave me a knock because he was eating while I had to drag him to come outside. My mum just went back inside to continue with her cooking while my dad told me he would explain after eating. I was literally counting the number of spoonful he had to take to finish his food because I was growing impatient.

After he was done eating, he explained what causes it and tells me they are no Aliens. Of course I didn't believe him, but I didn't show it. When I got to school the following day, I asked my class teacher and she explained it much better. After that day, whenever I see a contrail, I will laugh at myself for thinking we were to be abducted.

Come to think of it, Are Aliens Real ?? Well I'm no Scientist, so I can't really say.
