My Favorite Time Of The Day || LOH #174

Some of the most beautiful times of the day are sunrise and sunset. We want to know which is your favorite and why.

Every day we get to see the sunrise and also see the sunset. Both times of the day have the joy and happiness it brings to different sets of people and while I love both times of the day, I think I prefer the sunrise more.

I love this time of the day because, for starters, it is synonymous with new beginnings or the start of something. It is always a good thing to see a brand new day, waking up to see the birds chirping and also seeing people move about brings smiles to my face.

Every day comes with its own set of opportunities for different people. When you are expecting to receive something on a particular day or something is about to happen, you keep counting the days till it finally comes.

Take, for instance, your graduation day, Wedding day, and many more. As soon as the sun rises on that day, you know that this is it. I bet that day will start with smiles adorning your face because you know that this is another day to mark new beginnings in your life and when it finally arrives, you wish that day never comes to an end.

Don't get me wrong, I like sunsets too but sometimes I don't, especially times when I have breaks from work and it finally ends which means I would have to resume back to work the next day. As soon as the sun sets, I start feeling not too happy and wish for one more day of rest which would never come because I will be resuming the next day 😀😀😀.

I love the sunset because it also comes with its own set of happiness. I like that the sunset is synonymous with quietness or the end of something. When having a stress-filled day, you look forward to when the day will be over so you can take that long rest you deserve and when you finally get to lay down on your bed, you heave a sigh of relief and let sleep take you. There is a kind of feeling you get when you know that soon, everyone will retire back to their homes giving you the peace you need(unless you stay in a place where the city never sleeps).

Both times of the day are very important as both complement each other. Cheers to a brand new dayday 🥂🥂

I have a hard time deciding which is better, I worked for years as a Night Shift nurse. I experienced a unique sunrise and sunset one time is when I was in Alaska and daylight for 24 hours. Sunset and sunrise was the same thing.

I usually love sunrise only when I know I have something interesting planned for the day. Haha

I love these twilight hours too. And love how you have highlighted what you love about them. I am a late riser but have seen a lot of sunrises by staying awake all night, either partying or working. No matter how tired I might be, watching the sunrise always feels special. Add the chirping of the birds and a quite misty morning dew and it feels like one could do anything in this world.
During the working day I don't even remember when sunset happens, So when I do catch it from time to time it is very special.

I agree with the whole love and hate relationship for sunset
Sometimes I just feel like as the sun is setting it means another day in some hours except when it’s the weekend

But of course the scene is beautiful
