My 15-Year-Old Photo Card Collections: A Collection of Pretty Faces!

I can count on my finger the number of times I got crazy over a particular artist or an idol. To the point where I will download a bunch of their photos from the internet and use them as my wallpaper, watch their faces on YouTube, or stalk them just a "bit" using the information I gathered on Facebook. Although my definition of "going crazy" is still minor compared to some who will really attend one fan meeting or work hard to get a ticket for a concert, mine is really just "not that much," but for me it is enough.You know, just to quench my thirst for wanting to support them just by doing "that much."

But there is this one time, it's from a really long time ago. I was in high school back then, when my curiosity got the best of me, and even though I am not a fan, I got these things here because I was seduced by their beautiful faces. Seriously though, it's always the beautiful face that can catch my attention, lol. Well, I was still young back then, and pretty guys are my only source of happiness, lol. They could be the perfect "subject" for my fantasy and daydreaming, lol. Is it just me?

So during lunch time, we have an hour of break, and there is this new shop one ride away from our school. And because there were a lot of us who planned to go visit that shop that day, we got a good deal from the tricycle driver, which gave us enough budget to buy what we wanted at that shop. Although what's left is not that much either, with it, I can also get a good item for it, especially we heard from someone who had already visited that shop that they sell really affordable items.

So we're finally inside the shop, and there are a lot of items to choose from. There's a lot of stuff, but we have limited money in our pockets. But whatever, that day we were just happily admiring all the items that we saw. And what I heard is right, they are really affordable, affordable to those who have the money - what a sad, sad reality ( ꈍᴗꈍ), lol.

But I was really glad that day because the item that I wanted was not that expensive. And it is these photo cards here. It is actually so big with all these photos and the main characters. It's the Boys Over Flower from that Korean series. I'm really not a fan, but they all look beautiful, and that is why I bought them together with some other people. I'm not sure if those people have photo cards of them. Because mine, I'm still keeping them and giving them so much care.

Boys Over Flower got really famous that time. And even though I never watch it back then, their pretty face is enough to buy these photo cards, lol.

They still look new, no? It's because I've put them in a photo album together with my childhood photos, as you can see in the photo above. I am just glad that they have not faded yet, maybe they used a good-quality product when printing all these. And I am also keeping them close to me so I can take care of them like my face, lol. As for the price of all this, because they are a set, it is really cheap. I can't remember much, but I think it ranges from 20 to 30 PHP. You know how big that money is back in two thousand something. I actually have the sticker too, the dame size, sadly I couldn't find them anymore. Same with the notebook where I stick 'em all ಥ‿ಥ.

So this is how thick the photo cards are. I just counted them, and I have 36 of them with different faces of the main characters in Boys Over Flowers. I still remember how pretty I was seduced with their, their faces. I used to look at them every day, like checking them in my box. I just can't remember when I stopped checking on them. These photo cards here are like my rest when I feel so suffocated with my life. They were one of my saviors at that time. Spending my money on it is so worth it, ┌|o^▽^o|┘♪.

And just to let you know, guys, those photo cards have prints on both sides, that's why they are literally worth buying. That time when I bought it with my friends, I was also the happiest because, seriously, I can only find peace and happiness when I'm in school together with my friends. If today I'd love to stay at home because it is like a comfort place to me, back in high school, it was the opposite. I just hate to stay at home during those days. I hate that I will just go back home to hear nagging or whatever at home ಥ‿ಥ, lol. And having all of these added to my happiness that time.

Anyway, sadly, these collections didn't get more of something like this because, for me, at that time, they were already enough. And really, it's rare for me to get crazy over something else for a long time. The only thing that I go gaga about is money, because until now I'm crazy about it. How about you?
