How drawing helps with depression (A real-life example)

Hello everyone!

There is a poster in our office that reads (AVOID EMOTIONAL OVERLOAD). But how to do that? The question that has worried humanity for more than a dozen years. Some are looking for a way out in antidepressants, others visit a psychologist, and others go to self-control trainings. After another emotional skirmish, I am recovering by drawing.

I always have a sketchbook and a pencil in my bag. The fact is that in the process of drawing, our consciousness has to solve completely different issues than emotionally experiencing problems. During the creative process, you need to think about the composition and the sequence of tasks associated with drawing. And after a while, emotions fade into the background and pure creativity remains. Friends, I suggest you try it really works.
By tradition, another sketch.
Happy viewing
